This is one of those places. The hotel is family run and while they don’t speak great English they were incredibly helpful in helping us plan our time. They were very knowledgable of the area and knew where and when we should visit every attraction. They also gave us some 10/10 restaurant recommendations. Room was lovely, modern and clean and they also gave us a ride to the airport free of charge when we left. Highly recommend. 👍

At Zhangjiajie Walishanfang Guest Hous every room is fitted with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Location was great, very close to the East entrance to Zhangjiajie National Park and a food market. Wally was exceptional. He would stay with us for as long as we needed to help us with our itinerary and ticket booking.

At the guest house, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner and lunch and serves Chinese cuisine. The hospitality by the people there was amazing, I went to the wrong hotel and they picked me up from there, Ming was very helpful, very generous, very supportive, he kept helping me in every step I do in Zhangjiajie park, felt like home really and will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone

He helped us to book the tickets to the mountains and tianmen and is extremely helpful and very knowledgeable and his English is good which is rare to find in China. Would definitely come back and visit and stay in this guesthouse.
