Located in the historical centre of Znojmo in a reconstructed building dated back to the 15th century, Penzion Kaplanka is set 400 metres from the castle and houses a wine bar. The guest house offers views of the Dyje river. Only 7 parking spaces are available and reservations are required. We walked from the train station. The hotel is located in the historic old town in a very historic building with a great view of the countryside and the river. It is very near the pedestrian streets and the market. Close by is a fine restaurant in the local brewery. The hotel is altogether very nice.

The non-smoking restaurant serves Czech cuisine and it has a children's corner and a terrace. Breakfast is served every morning. Room was perfect, comfortable and very clean. There is a beautiful terrace and the drinks and food are very affordable and amazing tasty. Next morning I had to leave very early but they prepared a takeaway breakfast so during my trip I still had my breakfast.

Even though I was the only one in the place Monday morning, they prepared a full breakfast for me including scrambled eggs. And it was good to have a parking space in the locked yard.

A huge unit, large bedroom, large living area with two more beds, a nice kitchen that is fully equipped with a refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, pots, pans, dishes etc. Brand new, very modern, excellent decor! Very quiet with outstanding Wi-Fi. Huge bathroom with a wonderful shower. This place is so nice I wanted to cancel the rest of my trip and just stay here.

Our stay was very pleasant. Everything was in order, the room was fine, and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was okay. The location is really nice, surrounded by vineyards and grape fields. The stay met all our expectations and was good value for the price!

The accommodation was in a quiet area of a lovely village, a perfect spot to start many of the cycling routes and a wonderful oasis to return to after an eventful day. The landlady was very kind and helpful and she made our stay very pleasant. A special perk was the cellar filled with exceptional wine👌. We're already making plans to return 🙂

Parking is available in front of the area. The room was smaller, for sleeping complained . The room and bathroom was clean. A communal fridge was available in the corridor. There is also a shared kitchen where everything you need to prepare snack.
