The family-run Romantisches Hotel zur Traube Schwerin was built in 1872. Its spacious, non-smoking rooms were renovated in 2010 and feature traditional English-style furnishings. I loved the people who run this hotel. They made me feel like family. I slept so good on a very comfy bed. I just had coffee for breakfast, since I don't like to eat that early. If I needed help with getting a car to rent or a taxi, they were most helpful. I loved the garden and the summer room.

The large room for the family was amazing with 2 large beds and a large bathroom.

Look forward to a personal atmosphere and a delicious free breakfast. This hotel exceeded my expectations in several key areas. The location was excellent, and I was particularly impressed by how clean everything was throughout the property. The staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in after standard hours without any hassle. The breakfast was great. Despite the language barrier—we don't speak German and not all staff spoke English—communication was never an issue. Everyone was patient and understanding, making our stay very comfortable. As a bonus, there's a restaurant with an outdoor patio right next door where I enjoyed a delicious beer. Overall, a wonderful stay that I'd definitely book again
