Service was brillant, we felt very welcome. Easy transport to Strasbourg with tram and some very good tips and tricks from our host.

The guest house offers a buffet or continental breakfast. The owners were very warm, and helpful. The property setting was great, and it was an easy walk to the stores within the city center. It provided good access to Strasbourg and surrounding French countryside; I would recommend staying here vs. staying in Strasbourg, as it's an easy drive to Strasbourg! Lastly, the breakfast was wonderful, and reasonably priced.

Located within 46 km of The 'Petite France' and 46 km of St. Paul's Church in Gumbrechtshoffen, Maison d'Hôtes "L'ORIGINALE" provides accommodation with seating area. My mom, sister and I visited last week and occupied 2/3 rooms for the World War 2 - 80th Liberation Ceremonies Weekend. From the moment we parked, Sandrine provided an excellent experience! She came out to say hi and welcome us! She showed my Mom to her room - she had the suite on the bottom floor with the large bed, sitting area, and bunk beds. While my sister and I occupied the two twin beds upstairs. Location: We loved this location as it was central to everything, took 5 minutes to get to the store, restaurants, and other towns. It’s located in Gumbrechtshoffsen and is a quiet little town - no road noise, very cute and historic! Rooms - The rooms were so comfortable - great beds, super clean, private bathrooms, all of the bells and whistles that you need! We really enjoyed the space and it was perfect to have operate spaces in the same home. The stairs are a bit tall so if you have a stair thing (my mom does) it’s better to book the bigger space on the bottom floor. Breakfast - Sandrine provides an excellent breakfast that is included with the stay. Every morning in the communal kitchen and puts out a variety of pastries, orange juice, coffee, and charcuterie to choose from! She stopped by each morning to say hi and check in. If you wanted to, you could use the kitchen to make meals - it’s a full working kitchen with fridge you can use. We ended up seeing her at one of the events for the weekend and she said hi! She was nice enough to take something back to the house for my mom and help her in finding something to roll a poster into so she could keep it safe on return to the states! Overall - great experience, would highly recommend her hotel/guest house! Thank you for an excellent spot for us to rest and relax, Sandrine!

Set 17 km from Le Haut Koenigsbourg Castle, Le Refuge du Rempart features accommodation in Dambach-la-Ville with access to a sauna. A very welcome haven after a long day's walk. This place is outstanding. We had the room right next to the ramparts, so close we could touch them. The best hosts ever. The room was modern, comfortable, quiet, and creative. Excellent breakfast. Wish we had stayed longer. Highly recommended.

La Forge in Ringendorf is a true gem and an absolutely perfect place to stay for a shorter or longer period. The studio we stayed in is fantastic—it's incredibly spacious with a great sense of style and practical comfort. Our host, Léa, was fantastic; she was so kind and attentive, even turning on the air conditioning for us ahead of time on a super hot day. She even offered to fill our drinking bottles with ice cubes. It made a huge difference! Free spacious parking on-site. The breakfast was a delight, filled with delicious local products, fresh fruits, and wonderful bread. We loved the seating areas, both inside and out. Very cosy and clean! This place is run professionally, eye for detail and with kindness and hospitality, definitely worth a detour for anyone looking for a wonderful experience in the Alsace or passing through like we were. A pity I forgot to take more meaningful pictures.

Offering a garden and mountain view, A l'ombre du verger is situated in Breitenau, 23 km from Le Haut Koenigsbourg Castle and 34 km from Colmar Expo. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The guest house has family rooms. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. The place even though not very close to nearby attractions still was very magical and cozy. Highly recommend it for a romantic getaway. In the end with the car in 5 minutes you can get to the nearest town with a selection of nice bars and restaurants. We really enjoyed our time here!
