Nestled in the pretty Gloucestershire village of Coln St Aldwyns, this beautiful country inn offers a garden overlooking meadows and elegant, individually designed rooms with modern amenities.

There is a bar and restaurant on site serving traditional pub food and a sun terrace and garden for al fresco dining. This inn perfectly matches the charm of the village, super cozy and with a nostalgic, almost timeless feel, yet offering all the modern comforts. Our room was spacious and spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom included a tub, just as we had requested. The restaurant was also excellent, we really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. We definitely recommend this place and would love to return!

The 17th-century Fox Inn is set on the banks of the River Windrush, in the lovely Cotswolds countryside. It offers individually styled rooms with free Wi-Fi, a charming pub and riverside dining.

The Fox’s 4 luxury river mews rooms boast Cotswold stone walls and wooden beams, with traditional pub rooms also available. All rooms feature a TV, private bathroom and fishing rights for a private area of the river, with expert lessons also available. The location was perfect,nicely situated in the cotsworlds, without being a tourist stop. The hotel looks amazing, we enjoyed sitting outside by the river with our drinks and in the evening, whilst also enjoying a wonderful meal in the restaurant and a last drink in the bar. The building is old but feels newly renovated, old beams and brick work mix well with the more modern bathroom. Staff were amazing and very friendly

Fine, local ingredients are used to prepare The Crown Inn’s superb choice of dishes, including the popular, traditional Sunday roasts. Brilliant countryside pub/inn. Would have loved to have stayed another 5 mights. 20 minutes walk from a farmers market.

The guest suite was large and very comfortable and there were many thoughtful touches throughout the place. Would highly recommend staying here.
