I’m an American that came to Scotland/Skye for a week to hike and see the beautiful country. I was greeted by my host, Hector, after a long day of driving and delays. I was provided with my own small fridge with snacks, a kettle for tea/coffee, dishes/cutlery, all the little things one may need. The hallway had a microwave, toaster, other snacks, another fridge with shareable items. Any dirty dishes I had were cleaned and replaced on the counter in the hall for me to bring back into my room later. A massive bonus for me personally was the small fan since I usually sleep with a fan at home. The room had a skylight with a blackout shade in it so I could sleep without being woken by the sun. The bathroom had a towel warmer, which felt like a luxury since they aren’t standard in every home in America. Hector was super sweet and even gave me a little Highland coo figurine when I left.

This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. Outdoor seating is also available at the guest house. The cabin itself was beyond charming. So cozy. The view was unmatched. Quiet and peaceful. But beyond all that, there were such thoughtful gestures like a welcome basket of snacks and the host’s sweet little dogs’ greeting when we arrived. Two gentle pups just saying hi. It was magical.

In an elevated position enjoying beautiful loch views, The Tables provides free parking and Wi-Fi. Everything - it was amazing!! Stuart and Janet are wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble and they were very helpful and kind. Our room was lovely, very cosy and immaculately clean. Our breakfasts were huge and delicious. Stuart and Janet also suggested sightseeing locations, which we explored. They also put homebaked biscuits in our room plus there were complimentary cakes and nibbles available in reception. To sum up, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here and hope to come back one day.

Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. We loved everything. Lovely home and surroundings. It was an excellent location to see the isle of Skye. The pub in town was wonderful too with good food and music. The suite was super comfy and very roomy. The host is very thoughtful and left out snacks and two drams of whiskey for us. She also recommended places to visit. If I could give it a higher score I would. Definitely stay here. It was very peaceful and serene.

The guest house is fitted with a TV. The accommodation is non-smoking. i loved everything about the stay. you know it was a good vacation when you feel super sad to go back to your normal life haha! The host was wonderful and gave us loads of helpful suggestions about the places to visit. She helped us with some amazing breakfast even though we hadn't booked it in advance. Thank you so much!
