The jungle trekking with the staff of Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey was anonther level of perfection. Rachid and Gunawan were more than professional and helpful during the whole trip, big thanks to them. The trek was wonderful, the food also was so delicious , the lunch and the dinner in the camp where we had a special member of the team who cooked for us traditional dishes. We highly recommend both the guesthouse and the trip in the jungle with this super team. Thank you a lot for this lifetime memorable experience.

A bicycle rental service is available at the guest house. Unbelievably peaceful and tranquil place with the most magnificent view. Azi (the manager) is as genuine and authentic as you can get. We had an amazing time! Jhony is a very friendly guy and a very knowledgable and experienced guide. We will definitely return someday to do a longer trek!

This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Property was clean and overlooked the river view. My stay was excellent, and I also booked the jungle trek with them. It was absolutely amazing, and it was their own business. So it was a small group. Ricky and Anto were great with taking care of us. You should really try this activity! It’s very very worth it, and rest assured you are in good hands.

Located in Bukit Lawang, Gino's Place - Guest House & Jungle Trekking features a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. We had a great two night stay! The room was spacious and the AC worked great. The staff were so kind and helpful. The food was delicious (we liked the curry best) and very reasonably priced. We also signed up for a one day tour with them and we had a great day with 5 orangutan sightings led by our guides Jojo and Aldi. One evening some local guys came by to hang out and play some music. It was great singing along and getting to know the people of Bukit Lawang! It was also great that this didn’t go on late into the night and we still went to bed at a very reasonable time.

At the hotel, every room is fitted with a balcony. At Sahnan Guest House the rooms come with a private bathroom. This guesthouse is so nice!!! Everything is great, the owners are the most friendly people you ever meet, the service is great, the garden is beautiful, the room is very clean, breakfast is included! What can I say…. Stay there!!! They did 100000 extra miles to make the stay fantastic: we did many great things, like going to the market (30 min from the guesthouse), we went into rice fields and my children loved the soap making! And Eco print! And I really advice you to go to the jungle with them and guide Pipet. Lovely people, really into eco tourism, very responsible…. The jungle tour is fantastic! We love to come here!!!!! A big thanks for you all!!!!!!

The 2 guides Rian and Santa were the best guides I’ve encountered anywhere in all my years of traveling. They were so kind, funny and thoughtful. The food on the trek was phenomenal and it really was a wonderful experience. The property is great, with a beautiful lush green garden.

Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the mountain and river. This is a wonderful guest house in a peaceful location, a 30 minute walk along the river. Porters are available for a small fee. A fabulous view into the jungle. Arif, Riski and the girls in the kitchen provide a friendly, laid-back atmosphere and create amazing meals. All the guests eat dinner together, a great communal experience. Some of the rooms have outside jungle bathrooms. Staying here was the highlight of our trip to Indonesia.
