We had three in our room; parents and one teenager. We were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served at your table by very professional staff. The room was amazing with a spectacular view of the perfectly groomed garden and Kilkenny Castle. The location made it easy to see all of the main sites within the townsite and is close to many great pubs and restaurants. A river walk is minutes away and there are plenty of quality shops. Highly recommend fish and chips at Matt the Millar's, just down the hill.

Housed in an 18th-century property and located beside a 13th century tower house, this historic building offers guests well-appointed guestrooms, many with original period features. Each room has a multi-channel TV, tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary WiFi, modern en-suite facilities and a hairdryer. Everything was updated, beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The location was perfect, right in the center of a sweet town. Walking distance to grocery stores. Felt perfectly safe.

Set in Bunclody, in a historic building, 12 km from Altamont Gardens, The Monkey Puzzle is a recently renovated guest house with a garden and shared lounge. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Fantastic place to stay. Received our codes for the doors before our arrival. Once inside 2 badges per room were left on window sill. With these badges we could come and go as we pleased. This saved us having to tap in the codes each time. Rooms were spotless, Because we only stayed over for one night we didn't actually see anyone as we had to leave early the next morning.

The beds SO comfy and it was such a a great location. All I can say is I'll definitely be going back, it was perfect!!
