From helping me get tailored clothes made, to fixing the screen on my phone, to preparing the most delicious meals, to even arranging a local traveler to accompany me to the ghats — they thought of everything. Mohit’s wife cooks the most amazing food, with a huge variety of delicious home-style Indian dishes. I probably ate 70% of my meals here, and every bite was a treat! As a solo woman traveler, I felt completely safe and cared for. When I ran into trouble with a bad Uber driver, they stepped in right away and sorted it out without hesitation. Whatever was on my to-do list, they somehow made it happen. Their home is full of warmth, laughter, and the sweetest little girls you’ll instantly fall in love with. Mohit’s mother also carries such wisdom and clarity in her words that, even when she spoke in Hindi, I found myself understanding. They’re wonderfully creative too — they hand painted uplifting murals to brighten the walls, from a cute panda to a serene Buddha, and they’ve even made cozy seats out of recycled tyre wheels. In the evenings, the open terrace is the perfect place to sit, while doves that have been nesting there for over five years coo gently in the background. The family also runs a small shop, so snacks and drinks are always within easy reach. Compared to the bustle of the city, this place is peaceful and quiet, yet still just a short walk from the Buddhist temples in Sarnath. The rooms are comfortable, with options to suit everyone — from dorms to single rooms and larger family spaces. Truly, this is the BEST place I have ever stayed. Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport is 29 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Clean and modern. Good location in a quiet pocket of Varanasi, but still close to the river - 10-15min walk or short ride. Very friendly and helpful proprietors. Breakfast was delicious home made fresh food, mix of indian and western.

There is also someone there to chase any monkeys away. Tej Prakash is very helpful. If there is anything needed, they are immediately accommodating. I feel comfortable even with doors open. I don’t feel like anyone is stealing or cheating. Such good people!

Owner was exceptionally generous, allowing me the use of the room free of charge for 6 hours after the advertised check-out time.

The bed was soft, everything was clean, and the WiFi worked perfectly the whole time. It’s in walking distance from the Taj Mahal, which was so convenient. Plus, the coffee was amazing and the free filtered water was a nice bonus

Sona hospitality was exceptional! A very warm and kind person. The room was very comfortable and well maintained. I stayed there for 3 weeks and felt like at home. First of all, the staff here is extremely polite, helpful, and cooperative. They always served with a smile and took care of even the smallest needs. Such warm hospitality is rare to find. When it comes to cleanliness, the hotel maintains very high hygiene standards. The room was neat and clean, the washroom was properly maintained, and daily cleaning was done. This impressed me the most. The quality of the room was excellent – spacious, with a comfortable bed, proper lighting, and all the basic facilities available. The AC and Wi-Fi worked perfectly, which added to the comfort and convenience. Speaking of location, the hotel is situated in a prime area with markets, restaurants, and travel options easily accessible nearby. Tourist attractions and transport facilities were also easy to reach.Overall, this hotel is a perfect combination of comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality. My stay here was truly memorable, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city. Definitely a 5-star experience!
