The property has garden and city views, and is 2.3 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, full-day security and luggage storage for guests. It was such a special experience, it felt authentic and personal. We loved the incredible breakfasts, and the notes with tea and snacks when we returned at the end of the day. It was so warm and cosy, and so lovely to be able to look at a pretty garden in the middle of a busy city. The location was great too - there is so much within walking distance.

The hosts are very friendly and helpful, giving us useful advice on how to move around the town. Emiko speaks very good English. The hotel room looks just like in the photos posted on their website, and everything is very clean. The breakfast was fresh and slightly different each morning. The hotel is also well placed, just a few minutes walking from the bus station and the Keihan train Line (which reaches many touristic objectives in the city and up to Osaka).

A perfect place for a Kyoto visit if you don't want to be around the tourist masses. The place is newly renovated and just thought out well, longest sleeps I had in Amy of my accommodations so far. The host (Tony) is a really nice guy with a lot of knowledge about the area and loves to talk and give recommendations.
