Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

He was thoughtful and took care of everything we needed, and I can’t recommend him enough!!! Ris you are the best and don’t change!

Nice garden with friendly staff and good comfortable rooms! Everything we needed! Tari, had already cleaned our room even though we arrived earlier and forgot to inform him, the room was pretty comfortable with a big bed, small table and hangers to organize our stuff, bathroom and a balcony in the entrance. There is space for parking and for surfboards besides a collective area for breakfast. The homestay is about 3 minutes walking from the beach and from the center of the city but is still protected from noise. We really liked our stay! Great place to stay in Arugam bay. The rooms are comfortable and clean, they have everything you need A/C, fan, small fridge, internet, hot water, hammock. The location is at the beggining of Arugam, but conveniently near the beach as well as the best local place to eat in A -bay. But the best of all are the hostess Nisha and her brother who really make you feel welcome and at ease, ready to chat as well as help with everything-from surf classes, scooter rental, mini safari, transport. Always with smile on their faces despite the hard work they do. Thanks for making our stay so memorable! The new owner is also nice.

I was able to speak with him to extend my stay because it was so clean and comfortable. Embarrassingly I had ran out of fuel in my scooter and he was gracious enough to take to get fuel on his scooter. Can’t recommend this place enough!
