There is also adorable large dog ( Windy ) as a pet - Madhu and her daughter accompanied us to Cave temples ( 4 min walk to reach the temple from the property ) and explained so many details / history / traditions of Buddhism. The climb to the temple is around 300 + stairs with Medium/Moderate elevation . During the climb we took photos of beautiful forest and mountains around the area. Rooms are excellent and with top notch conditions / amenities - Madhu , Sanjee are excellent hosts. I/my family would stay here again if we are in dambulla again - Do not miss to book this property during your visit in Dambulla.

There is also few restaurants (S.L. Cafe has really good food) / cafes / bars right next to the accommodation, so it's really convinient and you dont' even need to walk to the main areas of the village in the evening, If you don't feel like.
