The hotel is set in the jungle, with charming independent houses that are very comfortable. Everything was spotless—pristine clean bedspreads, soft white towels, hot water, air conditioning, and satellite TV made my stay even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always going out of their way to ensure a great experience. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared, with a choice of continental, Sri Lankan, or English breakfast, as well as excellent lunch and dinner options. What makes this place even more special is that they only opened in December last year, and the owner is committed to giving young people opportunities for good jobs and a better future. I truly admire this initiative and wish them all the success. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and comfortable stay in nature!

The traditional restaurant at the guest house serves Asian cuisine, and is open for dinner and lunch. We traveled with our little daughter, who really enjoyed it. The accommodation is small but perfectly sufficient. It is located in beautiful nature, where you wake up to the sound of peacocks and other birds. The surroundings are stunning, and the breakfast area is lovely. We recommend trying their traditional sweet Sri Lankan breakfast. It is definitely ideal for a family with children. The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk from the city. The owner is great and helpful; he offered tuk-tuk rides to and from the city and also assisted with getting on the bus to Kandy. As a solo traveler they made sure that I felt safe and well taken care of. Even driving me to Lions Rock at 5am so I could hike up and see the sunrise. Great food, proactive and excellent service. I really felt like I was in good hands. Super comfy bed. Cute garden. Quiet but just a short walk away from the town. This should be a three start property.
