A junglalow with a view of waterfall, the jungle sounds immersed in nature. The room is private, super clean and the design of the space is just perfect 🤩 it is a 10 out of 10!!! Saman and her husband were so helpful and kind. The breakfast was awesome… we are vegan and they were very accommodating. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts! 🙏❤️

Situated in Ella, within 4.9 km of Demodara Nine Arch Bridge and 49 km of Hakgala Botanical Garden, Winwood Ella features accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Perfect location (walking distance from the main road and easy to locate the start of the hike to Ella Rock and Little Adam's Peak), clean and spacious room, delicious and fresh breakfast and a beautiful view. We booked Ashen to accompany us to Ella Rock before sunrise and he was incredibly patient and kind (we'd definitely recommend his services if you wish to hike! All in all, we had the perfect stay!

I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and I’ll definitely be coming back on my next visit!

This guest house offers free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. We loved our stay at Leisure Mount View. We booked 3 nights but stayed 4 as there was so much to do in the area and the hotel was fabulous. THE FOOD: We ate 3 dinners and 4 breakfasts at the hotel. The buffet dinner was delicious and offered more choice than anywhere else we've been in Sri Lanka. We also ordered from the menu one evening and the chicken biriyani was our favourite! The breakfast buffet was huge. On order were hoppers, toast with butter and jam, dahl, various sweet cakes, coconut string hoppers, as well as a lovely selection of fruit, fresh juices and tea/coffee. We were also offered eggs cooked however we liked. THE VIEW: Our big bedroom overlooked the incredible view of tea plantation fields and mountains. Each morning we opened the curtains and watched the sunrise. Beautiful. THE HOSPITALITY: Hashan and his team couldn't have done more for us. A printed folder, which included various local activities, including hikes, attractions (e.g Lipton Seat), massages, and a cooking class, was available at the reception to help plan our itinerary. We did the cooking class with Hashan's aunty and we loved it. We also enjoyed our chats with Hashan who shared lots of information about Sri Lankan life, culture and food. We were made to feel like we were more like old friends and not hotel guests.

Boasting a patio with garden views, a garden and a shared lounge, Rock Grand View can be found in Ella, close to Ella Railway Station and 5.4 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features river views, an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk. I travelled to Ella with my wife for holiday. We found Grand Rock View to be a small, tranquil place with a great character. Our room with balcony offered us the views of the whole valley where the city of Ella is located, including the Ella Rock and the waterfalls. It was a pleasure to just sit there and watch the world go by in the evenings. The place was quiet, as it is located away from any main roads. However, the centre of Ella can be reached from there by a 5-minute walk on the nearby railway tracks (which is how people normally get around there). The host was great, helped us to orient ourselves for our hikes to the nearby hills and was bent to fulfil any of our wishes. He also recommended to us several interesting dining options in Ella. The breakfast at the resort was very good and enjoyable. We enjoyed our stay at Rock Grand View very much.
