Facing the seafront, Ostrov Beach offers 3-star accommodation in Ukulhas and has a private beach area and garden. This recently renovated guest house features a building dating back to 2023, which is 60 metres from the Ukulhas Beach. The accommodation features free WiFi throughout the property, as well as a terrace and a family-friendly restaurant. Staff was fantastic! Breakfast was one of the larger buffets we seen while here in the Maldives. The private beach is great with shade and a cool breeze to hang out at.

At the guest house, units include bed linen and towels. Two breakfast options were available—a continental breakfast and a “local” option. We tried the local option the first morning. It was good, and we continued with the local option for the rest of our stay.

The added bonus was the international charger, which made it easy to charge my phone and devices. There is also a local shop nearby, and the beach is within a short walk. The manager also assisted with speed boat transfers and was happy to share his knowledge about the island, including the best spots for snorkeling.

Unfortunately, we were only able to stay one night, but we would return in a heartbeat.
