We came from a rather bad experience in Kuala Lumpur, so this hotel was such a breath of air. During our 5 week trip, we stayed at 13 different hotels, from affordable hostels to luxurious 5-star resorts and everything in between! Rushkokaa Beach Villa gave us the best customer service of all our stays. What made our stay so memorable, apart from the obvious beauty of the island and it's people, was the warm hospitality, the amazing food we were served by chef Anu, and the great customer service from the most service-minded worker Sufiyan- They felt like family at the end of our 4 night stay and we were sad to leave! It would not be the same without them. They taught us about the culture and they left a lasting impression on us- we made memories and also friends. The hotel is RIGHT ON bikini beach! Food: Where do I even start? For breakfast, they offer us two options: Local and continental. We opted for the local breakfast, which my friend liked so much she kept chasing the same experience on all other hotels, however no other chefs could even compare to the way Anu cooked it! My favorite part was that there were a new dinner menu every day. We got two options, and me and my friend would order one option each; that way we got to taste 8 different dishes- all so good!! You tell the chef the day ahead if you'd like dinner and at what time, so he can shop for groceries. It made it such a personalized experience. I told him my favorite food, and there were at least 3 dinner options with that ingredient. On our last night, they prepared a beautiful dinner on the beach under the stars. Unforgettable! In comparison the other hotels in Fulidhoo had MEEH americanized food. If I could re-do my trip to the Maldives, I would cancel my stay in Gulhi altogether, and stay at Rushkokaa longer. I can not emphasize enough how the two staff Anu and Sufiyan and the food made the stay as great as it was. You can not go wrong with booking your stay at Rushkokaa Beach Villa.

A water park and an indoor play area are available at Luau Beach Inn, Maldives, while guests can also relax on the sun terrace. Very nice room with balcony and seaview. The breakfast was buffet style during our stay, a reasonable amount of choices and good quality of items. We also decided to have dinner most nights at the restaurant as well as lunch snacks at their cafe, all very good. The staff was very helpful and friendly, they were quick to respond to all our questions. We went on 2 excursions organized by them which were also great. The bikini beach is right next to the hotel and the staff helped us with sunbeds and umbrellas to that one. This was really helpful as we didn't always find any public ones available.

This small boutique hotel is very new, and the rooms are furnished in a way that you cannot find in any of the local islands. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. If you are looking for a small local island experience and see another point of view of the Maldives it is really great. We combined this with a couple days of resort experience and it was perfect for us. The rooms are large and and very comfy. There is a small pool right outside of your room.

Madi Grand Maldives is a recently renovated guest house in Fulidhoo, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. This guest house offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the year-round outdoor pool, or enjoy views of the garden and inner courtyard. On top of that , the hotel is just 2 mn next to the beautiful white sand beach. I will go back and strongly recommend the place if you stop by in Kadhdhoo !

The guesthouse is run by wonderful locals who strive to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. They are not just regular stuff, but family and friends in a tight knit community, who genuinely care about the service they provide. I do not usually write reviews, but in this case I made an exception as the whole experience was so amazing that I wanted to make sure that the guesthouse and the lovely people who run it get the recognition they deserve. Throughout my stay, I was in constant communication with the owner via WhatsApp, if I needed more sunscreen, wanted to have an early dinner, or arrange a snorkel trip and be taken out on a boat, they immediately answered and invariably made everything possible. Location: The guesthouse is located on a small island of 200 inhabitants, with untouched nature, an amazing coral reef perfect for snorkeling, and a tight-knit community of locals living their daily lives. The island is completely safe and the locals are welcoming and curious about foreigners. At one time, on my way back from the beach, I was invited into the house of a handful of locals who offered me some traditional food and had an interesting discussion with me about their customs and way of life. The property The property was built very recently by the owner, and was very much up to the European standards, super clean and very cozy. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and an electric kettle with a selection of coffees and teas that you can make in your room. All meals are served in a dining area just outside of the house, where you can look at the surrounding nature while eating. Snorkel gear and beach towels are also provided free of charge. The beach The beach is just a few hundred meters from the property, full of coconut trees under which you can lay, or just leave your belongings there while snorkeling. Most of the time I was the only one at the beach, or else only saw 2-3 other people a few hundred meters away from me.

The guest house is fitted with a flat-screen TV. The kitchen features an oven, a microwave and a fridge and there is a private bathroom with bathrobes and slippers. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Amazing homestay! Rooms are super new and clean and very well decorated, all in the details. Sudha is super nice and maintain the garden beautifully, and the owner is a very lovely lady! We had to stay longer on Gan due to the weather, but not a problem at all... we had an amazing time!

Representatives of Stay Mikado helped us with all the logistics, since we had to stay overnight in a local hotel for an early next morning speedboat trip to Thimarafushi island. When we got to Stay Mikado, Ameen and his staff took very good care of us for the whole duration of our stay. Ameen and his staff are amazing in hospitality and care for every need. The hotel is situated at a local island and we had a nice and clean double room with breakfast, lunch and dinner included. The food was very tasty and we ate with good appetite. The hotel also has a small gym, SPA room, and on the rooftop there is a large terrace if you want to relax and also with a nice view of the island, where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset. Hotel WiFi is good. Across from the hotel there is a leisure area where you can play table tennis, billiards and some other games. There are free bikes for the guests to use. Stay Mikado has a tourist beach just a few minutes away. We visited it a lot and had long baths in the warm water. Everyday from the hotel you can go by boat on different excursions to nearby islands - snorkeling, diving, fishing and surfing. Prices for the trips ar very reasonable too. The hotel owns a private island that is a must see and is really worth a day trip, including bbq and beautiful beaches, stand up paddle boards, glass bottom kayak etc. Ameen and his staff at Stay Mikado will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed during your stay in Thimarafushi. We had a really nice vacation and would like to recommend this hotel to people who wants to see the real Maldives.
