Rooms are clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend Hotel Ocho Barrios if you're coming to San Cristobal de las Casas and would definitely stay here again! We decided to stay an extra 2 nights.

Guests can enjoy a meal at an outdoor dining area at the guest house. This property totally exceeded my expectations, even though I stayed one night. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I felt like at home. I was allowed to check in much earlier. When I came back to grab my backpack a few hours after check out, I was offered a clean towel and a possibility to take a shower before boarding on a bus. I don't think I have ever seen such client-friendly service anywhere else. WiFi signal is very strong and stable. The surroundings are quiet. The rooms are clean, beds comfy. I totally recommend this place!

The property is a little bit off the beaten path, which I like it. The area is more chill without not too many crowds and loud sounds around. It was a very good deal for the amount of money which I paid. I basically got an entire apartment and I particularly appreciated the coffee maker machine and the small couch with fireplace nearby.
