They are indicative of the old buildings that have remained largely untouched by time. Local craftsmen still practice their arts in the traditional ways of hundreds of years ago. Lovely place in a very quaint little town. I particularly liked the look and feel of the hotel as well as the atmosphere at the breakfast in the morning.
