A genuine Nepalese experience in a great neighbourhood. I stayed February/March 2025 and only left because it was fully booked beyond the dates I initially booked. Im hopeful its available next trip! Bobby owns and operates the place and made my stay awesome, picked me up from the airport and took me to many places it would have been difficult to arrange to go to; showed me all the essential shops in the area (theres a great convenience store downstairs) and gave me many tips on how to navigate the city's peculiarities. The owner and the staff were incredibly helpful and very welcoming. They were always ready to answer questions and give directions and even recommended a good restaurant and timing for momo. The owner also helped me to book the tourist bus without charging any commission. The room was simple but very clean and well-maintained. I love my short stay here. I will definitely reserve a stay here if I ever visit Kathmandu again.
