The host is one of the nicest people we’ve met in Portugal, helpful, calm and kind. The pool and pool beds are amazing, the breakfast is very good and the view is breathtaking. Very nice and quiet area, but within 20 minutes you are in the center of lisbon, sintra, or the beach of cascais. My husband and i came one night to celebrate my birthday, but we honestly hoped to stay longer.

Anjo Azul is a renovated 18th century property, featuring a modern décor and a charming façade covered with Portuguese tiles. Located in a tranquil street at the heart of historic Lisbon, it is just 300 metres from Camões Square, in Chiado. Rossio is a 5-minute walk, while the lively bars of Bairro Alto are at a short walking distance. The stuff was amazing. Both super nice and professional and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We arrived late at night due to our flight being delayed and still when we arrived the woman at the reception welcomed us with a smile and explained everything regarding the hotel as well as giving us tips about our stay in Lisbon.

Baixa/Chiado is 600 metres away, while lively Bairro Alto is 1.2 km away and the historical Alfama and its Fado houses is 1.4 km from Tesouro da Baixa by Shiadu. Lisbon International Airport is 6 km from the property and is easily accessed by metro. Great rooms and friendly helpful staff.

The location is ideal: close to the airport, to a metro station and with many bus stops out the door. Rest assured you can easily go wherever you want. The neighbourhood feels safe and has all the necessary shops around. This was my second stay at this B&B, and I would stay there again if I were lucky to revisit Lisbon.
