Beautiful location, although being right next to the highway it is a bit noisy. The food is delicious, the service is friendly.

Definitely our go-to choice whenever our travels bring us this way!

At the guest house, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and high tea and serves Italian cuisine. We stayed here whilst walking the Alpe Adria trail. It had everything we needed and was clearly a favourite of the locals. Unfortunately we'd already eaten so didn't have an evening meal but the breakfast was delicious and the scrambled egg were the best of our holiday. They grew their own apricots and made wine. They left a couple of bottles in the room to sample on the house and they were delicious. The hosts were friendly and welcoming.

All units have a private bathroom, a hair dryer and bed linen. Beautiful area and close to many wineries. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and we had very good sleep there. No windows obviously, it is very nicely renowated room from an old wine cellar. Everything you need on a holidy.

Or just relaxing and enjoying a good glass of wine.

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features family rooms. We had a huge room with two queen beds and a very good bathroom. The owners offered breakfast which was very good and served in our own little dining room just outside the bedroom. The owners also had very good restaurant recommendations - believe it or not there are some excellent restaurants in this little town. This is a house in a residential area, so parking was no problem at all, and it's only a five minute drive to the caves, so the location is excellent. I highly recommend getting a rental car in Ljubljana, driving to Skocjan Caves to see them on the first day, staying at the Yellow Dreamhouse overnight, then doing the Postojna Caves and Predjama Castle the following day before driving back to Ljubljana, which is what we did. It was a very nice little trip and both caves are amazing in their own way, although if you can only do one I would probably recommend Postojna more.
