There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. There is nothing not to like about this place! The room was clean, quiet, spacious, and had a terrace with a fantastic view of the mountains. The location is ~10 minutes drive to Logarska Dolina, and there are hiking trails right out the door, including an easy one to Matka Kot with goat milk ice cream along the way :) They are also sustainable and have different bins to easily sort waste. What really sets the guesthouse apart though is the staff - Katja is so friendly with plenty of suggestions for things to do and what traditional foods to eat. Every night the guesthouse offers a different traditional meal, and we enjoyed each one she recommended to us. And her daughter’s desserts are delicious! We had a wonderful time in this area of Slovenia and would definitely recommend a stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at this place! We were offered a delicious welcome drink on our arrival of a homemade blueberry liquor. The coffee station was outstanding. If I could have the breakfast every day, I would! You can also pay separately to eat here for dinner. The menu features local cuts of many meats and was also absolutely delicious. Otherwise the bed was comfortable. Even though I saw only the two owners while here, it was supremely clean throughout the place. The view of the river and surrounding area is lovely, and each room features a balcony. If you have the opportunity to stay here, I highly recommend you take advantage of it!

The chalet itself is a gem – spacious, beautifully furnished, with well equipped kitchen. Our private sauna and jacuzzi became the perfect reward after a day of hiking. One of the loveliest surprises was the hideaway (smaller room) at the top of the chalet – clearly designed with kids in mind. Ours claimed it as their “kingdom” within minutes and spent hours up there in their own world. The surroundings are simply breathtaking. We rented a bike to explore the panorama and let the kids roam safely in the open space around the chalet. Just sitting on the terrace, soaking in the mountains and fresh air, felt like the ultimate reward. We would love to come back again in the future.

The food prepared here was amazing and definitely a highlight of our stay here. The staff as well were lovely and gave us good recommendations for what to do in the area.
