The rooms at FAUNA Montevideo have air conditioning and a desk. We really enjoyed our stay. The host was very nice and helpful. He told us about great places for food and music. Place even better than on pictures. You can feel a good taste of the owner in each detail.

Great location, in the middle of everything but quiet. Extremely warm and friendly hosts! Made me feel very welcome, whilst also giving me my space. Also lots of tips for travel locations ect. The guy put the FA cup final on the TV for me without me asking, because my team was playing. Seems to be the best budget option in Montevideo.

Wonderful and charming hotel in the old town. Tastefully fitted out with mid century handpicked furniture, comfortable well appointed rooms. Host Jero was extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Travel a lot, and this is undoubtedly one of the most stylish boutique hotels I've ever stayed in. But comfort and practicality haven't been neglected either. Plus, Jeronimo is the ultimate host, and his team are always available for tips/help. It's well located - I don't think the centre of Montevideo gets enough credit. It's a little rough and tumble at night but still some great bars and dining opportunities around.

The host was flexible and nice. The location was perfect in the old city center where most of the attractions are, plus nice bars and restaurants. The view from the terrace is really nice and I appreciate that there were multiples toilets/bathrooms.

Fauna Montevideo is a beautiful small boutique hotel. The interior is very stylish. The room was great with an extremely comfortable bed and a clean and modern bathroom. Fresh fruit and Lavazza coffee is served in the lobby for free. Jeronimo is a perfect host: He is kind and helpful and his recommendations for restaurants and cafés were very good.
