The location is really peaceful across the road from Smith's Lake. We saw a few parrots coming onto the balcony to entertain us. The kitchen was really well equipped and there were some board games in the cupboard. The sofa and the beds were comfortable.

We had amazing time staying in this cozy tiny house! The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The best part was the stargazing! At night, the sky was so clear, and the stars were amazing —it’s something we’ll never forget. The location was perfect for a quiet escape but still close enough to explore the area. The host was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. If you’re looking for a getaway that’s peaceful and unique, I definetely recommend this tiny house. We’ll definitely be back!

Really nice spot, a short walk to the lake, it was clean and the hosts were really accommodating. Also really liked that there were some nice king parrots that decided to come and say hello.

Super cool little place with huge surround windows to see the bush at night. Lovely scenery, with little pond and big hills, made you feel completely alone. It was also pretty impenetrable to bugs and felt super modern. The toilet was excellent, shame we didn't stay longer! The eggs were a treat!

The house was clean, bright, and beautifully appointed with a generous amount of general items left for us to use, such as spices,oils, sauces, etc... soap, soap powder, and dishwasher tablets. I would recommend this house as great value in a central area (driving necessary but easy) with many amazing beaches and walks.

The Homestead is beautiful, open and airy, we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely return. This was our second stay and honestly we have no issues to comment. Laura is lovely and friendly and we even asked for a strip to be mowed down to the private jetty and the next morning it was mowed! Made it so much better to access the jetty and lake. If you like country and lake this is the location for you. Our Cattle dog loves Katandra and I’m already checking dates for our next stay.
