The property was well maintained by Anton who did all the turnover service during our stay. We were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to order meals through him throughout our stay. We were able to try out all the traditional Sri Lankan food and everything was presented beautifully and tasted delicious! The rooms were large and clean, so was the rest of the villa. The pool was well looked after so a great source of fun for the kids! The area was very convenient for our visit and the owners were also nice enough to help us with a later checkout due to our night flights. Great service, great villa, fab holiday spot that served us well during our stay in Sri Lanka.

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Green Retreat Hideout. From the moment we arrived, it just felt right — quiet, spotless, and full of warmth. It’s tucked away on its own bit of land, so there’s no one around — just you, the fresh air, and the peace. That sense of space made the whole experience feel extra special. You’re close enough to everything, but it still feels like your own little world. Every detail was spot on — from the comfy setup to the thoughtful touches that showed real care. Staying in Villa Vakasa is like a dream come true! I have waited writing a review , cause I stayed in other places and hotels. But this place deserves a 12/12 . It is the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka by far. The whole house is designed with exquisite taste and the host provides you with everything you need from oats and milk and coffee to make your own coffee. It made a massive difference staying there after our arrival in Colombo to recharge and refuel. Beautiful diffusers we’re on to dispel the Moskitos and every room was designed with so much love, expensive high qualitative furniture, books, games, a sowing kit - nothing was to much to do and help was there immediately. I loved it abd highly recommend!! Thank you - Namaste 🙏🌷

Everything. It's nice and clean cozzy apartment equipped with all modern amenities. Host is really nice. Not far from city, but in a quite, high end neighborhood. It was a pleasant stay indeed.

At the time of our stay they were building a descent size pool. It would be nice once finished. Private and quite area. Acess to motorways to go down south or Kandy side was easy from nearest town of Piliyandala.
