Oh what a wonderful place, super cosy, excellent decor and condition, very relaxing environment. We feel blessed to have spent some time here. A lovely cottage in the midst of nature. Warm and comfortable with all necessaties for a great break ❤️

The house is a little marvel. I haven't checked the historic background yet but it feels like maybe this could have been a hunting lodge of some king or lord. The house looks amazing, is very cosy, super well equipped, has a sauna, two toilets, two showers and a large beautiful garden/yard. The location is amazing too, we want to come back in summer, but this place must be booked for years.

The area is fantastic. Quiet place, next to the river. Cabin is amazing, warm, clean and with all necessary amenities. Towels, bath robes, kitchen utensils, coffee, tea, sugar and all that's needed. Owner is nice, friendly and very helpful.

The Bear House clearly exceeded our expectations. It was very lovingly furnished and the equipment was great, we didn't miss anything. The location of the accommodation was also perfect for us, as we were not far from an idyllic hiking route. We felt very comfortable and would definitely come back when we are in Sigulda!

I really liked the location of the cabin. It felt like being in the forest, but with all the comforts. We arrived at the cabin late in the evening, but the sauna was already waiting for us as we had booked it in advance. There is no table for dinner in the main house, but we had dinner every day in the sauna where there is a large table. The house has everything you need, very clean and warm. The landscape is also very nicely done, unfortunately we came to Fridis&Chill in the fall and did not enjoy the outdoor furniture as it was cold. But there is a plan to come back in the summer!

It was betrer than I expected-good location, not far from shopping mall Chocolate (walking distance). Clean, lot of space, towels, bedsheets. We have been few families - experience exceeded expectations.

    The best place to stay in Sigulda! Cozy private house near to downtown. Lovely terrace to enjoy morning coffe or just a view. It has all the necessary things in the kirchen aswell. Very clean and lovely place!
