Our stay at the aghasu tun b and b ended up being one of our favorite parts of Armenia. Amalia (sp?) was a lovely host who not only was a great chef but it was very nice to get to know her and share our love of music together. There is a communal area where we got to spend the evening with other guests who were also very lovely and showered us as well with Armenian hospitality. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family. Surrounding area is very beautiful (don't miss Lori fortress). Amalias garden is also really cool!

Came for one night and stayed two, mainly due to the overwhelming hospitality of the owners and the great breakfast from home made produce they dished up. We bought some delicious cheese for the trip from them as well. The tent itself is basically a small self contained cabin. There's also a kitchen aside the house and a grill. Location is a bit away from everything which I'd nice when you just want to have a quiet rest. Nonetheless there are things around to see within a short hike.

Our room had obviously been renovated in a very creative way (we really liked the shower). The town of Alaverdi as such might look a little bit drab but it really is wonderfully situated if you want to thoroughly explore Debed canyon and its many natural and cultural wonders. And besides, the town won’t seem drab at all when you put yourself in the care of the hosts - they were really helpful, kind and generous with the delicious apricots.

Cool place, crazy nature. Homemade products, ecological, real. Comfortable room, the room has everything you need. The hosts are hospitable and ready to help with everything. This is such a deeply warm and welcoming place. They took such good care of me as a solo traveller. I ate well at both dinner at breakfast and slept the most deeply I had since arriving to Armenia. Honestly the best and kindest hosts! Everything is also clean, comfy and well maintained. Also you're right near Sanahin monastery so I got to walk around the town at dusk and climb to some amazing views.
