Staff was extremely helpful and nice, room was as expected, just one room but enough for the purpose. It is very close to the river and the Melk Abbey and to the "inner city" (restaurant, park, sights). The "Mahlzeit in Melk" restaurant (currently with 4.8 rating on Google) is within the building, with also friendly staff.

Laura & Hans are excellent hosts - warm, welcoming & made me feel right at home instantly with hot coffee & juice in their garden daily etc. They provided guidance to to key sites to visit in the area - all of which were visited & enjoyed. Room was very comfortable too. It was a very good experience staying in their place. Very memorable.

The friendliness of our reception. The helpfulness of the owners, the rooms, the location, and the food. We also thought the Gasthof was good value for money.. If we did this trip again. The Gasthof Haselberger would be the first place we would book to stay.
