It was an amazing place to stay, calm, quiet, great service, fully equipped (fridge, microwave, silverware and cutlery inside the room plus a dining table), private bathroom was well sized and complete, spotlessly clean, as well as the room. Please be aware you might have to walk uphill to reach it, but was not a problem for me, easily reachable with uber (Tip! Uber in Chile do not accept credit card payments, only cash), not so easily with public transport as not many bus routes go by and go frequently (pro, it super cheap) I would definitely go back and the house owner was very welcoming!

Everything was incredible - Valparaiso is a vibrant city and this beautiful home matches the city in beauty and mood. The room is extremely comfortable and well decorated, the breakfast is excellent and served in a very homely family room, and the view from the terrace is among the best we saw in the whole city (perfect for an evening wine or two). Aside from the space, the host is very welcoming and chilled out; he really helps to create a homely environment. If we come back to Valparaiso, we will be staying at Val Paradou again without a doubt.

In the Cerro Alegre district of Valparaíso, close to Caleta Portales Beach, Casa Fibonacci features a bar and a washing machine.

Beautiful, relaxing, clean, spacious. The bed was the best I've slept in during our travels through Peru, Bolivia and Chile. The kitchen was well equipped even including milk (huge bonus for us brits who love a proper brew!). The entire place is decorated and cleaned to a high standard. The showers are AMAZING!. It is more like having a home to use and respect rather than a hostel. You are left to your own devices and can enjoy the entire place at your leisure. Even the washing machine!! The two terraces are beautiful,1 set up with TV, BBQ and lovely plants/ succulents to decorate. The other has amazing views and seating so groups can easily enjoy the areas in peace. The owners are lovely people, even brought us a bottle of Monkeys Tail on Christmas Eve which we enjoyed with our BBQ on the terrace. I wish them all the best for the future. We are so happy we chose to spend our Christmas here.
