The lady who owns it is sooo friendly, and her grandmother. She gave me a little leaving present which was really nice. Beautiful balcony where you can watch the sunset from the hammock. Very quiet. 5 mins walk into the main strip of town (up a hill on the way back but not far- worth it for the views from the balcony)

The best things about this place is the view and the staff. The valley below is gorgeous, especially in the morning. José was a great host and helped us out with various questions throughout our stay. The Hostal has a very friendly vibe. I also recommend visiting the waterfalls in the area, especially Cascada Perdida and Oido del Mundo which are less crowded.

Casa del Pozo Azul is just such a relaxing, chilling place. If you are looking for a relaxing hotel, away from crowds and into nature casa del Pozo Azul is the place for you! The staff is so so friendly and they have a dog and two cats who are just the best! I do recommend this place to spend a few nights! The best thing! They are one of the only places in Minca to have private access to a river! Which is so so relaxing
