It's a wonderful place to stay if you want peace and quiet and amazing views. The rooms had a balcony with stunning views, so did the shared terrace. The staff is very accommodating and helpful, they have a water refill station which is amazing as it reduces the amount of plastic and is very handy. The room is spacious, basic but has everything one needs. There's only cold water, but it's everywhere in this part of Colombia, just be prepared. We loved the location as it's away from the noise and pollution of Minca, but close enough to a couple of good restaurants (you must try the Japanese place 2 minutes away, the food was extra delicious and the owners are so lovely). The hidden waterfall is walkable distance too and it was our favourite one of them all - almost no people, clean and deep enough to swim. Another MUST DO is a visit to Plan B, it's a farm nearby where they do tours. It was the best experience we had so far.

Firstly, it’s a perfect location. As I had hoped, it was just enough out of town and up the hill to see the views, but still walkable from town. It’s also walking distance to a waterfall a bit further up the road. We also enjoyed a variety of birds right from the terrace. However, the owner and staff really made the difference. They are friendly and helpful. The food (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) were amazing. They have a large menu selection. The owner, Julio Cesar, really cares about his hotel and the experience of the guests. I would definitely stay here again.

Pablo was attentive to all our needs and made our stay very comfortable. Room was spacious and had huge windows from which we could hear the river down below. Very close to Pozo Azul and to various hikes you can do around Minca.

The couple that ran this hotel are very accommodating and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Location was very close to town but far enough away that it was not too noisy. Safe neighbourhood to walk around in lots of restaurants close by.

The owner is wonderful and helpful. It's in a very cool location outside of town center, with a really nice sub 10 minute walk to the center. There is also easy access to the nearby river.

This place was our best stay. It had the most beautiful view and it was right next to Minca (but also very quiet) so you only have to get to Minca to get there. Most of the other hostels with a beautiful mountain view are very very far away from Minca which makes Rancho De La Luna a really good choice as you're always close to food, shops, hiking trails, and waterfalls. Nelson is a very good and very attentive host that can help arrange anything you might need in Minca.

Good location. The staff were friendly and attentive. We were the only guests there, although I’m not really sure why as this is a nice place. A tasty breakfast was provided every morning. The pool was great to cool off in.
