We are afamily of 4 adult, 1 toddler, 1 dog and stayed for 6 days in 3 rooms. This family run hotel has lovely friendly and helpful Spanish speaking staff, clean, comfortable & spacious rooms, very functional, stylish and spacious common areas. Enjoyed the firepit. Especially loved cooking in the large shared kitchen that was well equipped. Easy to communicate with before arrival and during the stay when out with WhatsApp. Staff accommodated for and assisted in organising birthday celebrations. Location is 8 minutes from the main road so was very peaceful with great views across the hills and cool breezes.

Everything was perfect. Room was big and clean, bed was comfortable. There was hot water in the shower. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was amazing - friendly and helpful.

Lovely chill hostel with everything you need and more. The staff are all super friendly and happy to help in any way they can. At check-in they provide you with a map that contains all the information you will need for your stay, including all activities available in the area, what to do and see in local towns and how much each activity costs. Your only worry then is, how to fit all these activities into your stay and the staff are more than happy to help you make a plan. All the facilities were cleaned daily and they even provided good quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash in every shower room. Wonderful place, wonderful people and one amazing adventure in San Gil.

Location great, 10 min by foor to the city center, 2 min to the mall (with a supermarket) and far away from noise - friendly owner and service - well equiped kitchen - comfortable and clean room - Wi-Fi was fast - laundry machine for free - super quiet (we had a room not facing the street), respectful guests

The hosts at meraki hostel could not have done more for us! So kind and helpful. We arrived super late after a delayed bus, and they waited up for us. The rooms were lovely and so clean (and cleaned after the first night amazingly!) We had delicious breakfasts of eggs, bread and coffee, it was really chilled, and they helped us book taxis/ white water rafting. We then were allowed late check out, to shower after white water rafting. Could not recommend more!

The location is great, close to the centre and with the excellent F5 Cafe for breakfast and Europa Cafe for pasta and pizza on the next block. Carlos is super helpful and hospital and the hostel is simple but clean, secure and comfortable.
