Very clean, beautifully presented and well maintained. The staff were all fantastic and did their very best to accommodate my poor German vocabulary! The room was cleaned daily, mini bar restocked and towels changed as and when required. The pool was lovely but unfortunately the sauna was off when I went to try it. Location was off the Main Street but not by much, a 10 min walk from the train/bus station.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Owner was very nice person, offering best sendwich upon our arrival. The room was decorated im very nice Alpine stile, very confortable. Our motorbike was allowed to park in Owner private garden.

When we arrived, we found out that Booking had made a mistake, and we were not booked for that night. The lady drove to us from her house, in order to make sure we had a place to stay the night. She found another hotel in the area, came with us, helped us check in, and also helped us find parking for our car. Although the second hotel was rather expensive, she insisted on not taking any additional money from us. We stayed our second night at Edelweiss, the breakfast was amazing and the lady treated us like her children. She was the nicest hostess we have ever met.

Our country hotel is located in the historic Ludwigstraße street, 3 km from the heart of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It offers room service and a casino.

Overall the bedroom was very comfortable big and value for money. Since the Hotel is quite old it gave us a good old antique vibe. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I would 100% recommend this place, also would love to stay here again. :)

We arrived on the very first day of the hotel’s reopening after renovations. They are still finishing some work, but everything in the room was brand new, fresh, with soft clean bedding and a beautiful view. When we arrived at check-in time, we were asked to wait for two more hours, but later they kindly gave us a discount for the inconvenience. The lady at the reception was very pleasant and helpful — thank you to her, and we wish the team good luck with finishing the renovations!

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Gästehaus Bader is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain.
