The staff were so friendly and helpful before we arrived and during our stay. The buffet breakfast was exceptional everyday. The rooms were warm and comfortable and clean. Finding the hotel and parking was easy. Would stay there again.

We greeted by the host by asking us how arrival time through messages. Instruction was clear, and we felt welcomed throughout our stay. The breakfast was also very filling, which was perfect for us to do some hikes around the area. We enjoyed staying at our room. It was very spacious, where we could fit our luggages with room. There was also a couch area for us to just relax.

With a history dating back to 1317, this country hotel in Schlehdorf lies just 200 metres from the banks of the Kochelsee Lake.

Brilliant staff who couldn't have been more helpful, and showed us a secure bike parking spot. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. The food is excellent as well and the atmosphere great.

When we arrived, we found out that Booking had made a mistake, and we were not booked for that night. The lady drove to us from her house, in order to make sure we had a place to stay the night. She found another hotel in the area, came with us, helped us check in, and also helped us find parking for our car. Although the second hotel was rather expensive, she insisted on not taking any additional money from us. We stayed our second night at Edelweiss, the breakfast was amazing and the lady treated us like her children. She was the nicest hostess we have ever met.
