It was a quirky, relaxed, friendly retreat, just outside the city limits enough to be perfect. The gentleman who owned the property was exceedingly friendly and very welcoming, especially to a long traveller. He spoke perfect English and was more than happy to speak in English as my Spanish is limited to say the least I have no doubt that I will be visiting this hotel again.

Pension Segura is a very friendly and spotlessly clean family-owned and run hotel and is in a perfect location (just 5-10 minutes' walk from the centre of Valencia). The rooms are small and simple (which is why I have given 4/5) and the hotel has facilities (also a 4/5), but this is what I expected in a traditional 2-star Spanish hotel. Segura exceeded my expectations. The staff could not have been friendlier. Although Segura does not have a breakfast room, it is possible to buy tokens for breakfast at the excellent cafe just 20 seconds' away.

The owner Mrs. Begoña is very friendly and helpful. Nice location in a quiet area nearby hiking trails in the mountains. We had the room with a balcony with a view on the mountains and an old cementary. Easy to park on the street for free. Well equipped shared kitchen. The bathroom had soap, shampoo and a hairdryer. Shopping centre, shops and restaurants in the walking distance from the property. Easy access by car both to Murcia and all other destinations. If you want to go by bus to Murcia, the bus stop is nearby and the journey to the centre takes at least half an hour. Best stay if you have a car.

Recently refurbished using high quality fittings and everything was immaculate. Much better than my expectations at this price so excellent value for money. It's close to Murcia airport which is why I chose it and in the morning I actually walked to the terminal although I only had a backpack. A taxi would be better if you have luggage.

A very friendly welcome from Jose, after a long & hard day on my bicycle. Jose found a safe storage place for the bike. An excellent, well appointed & good value.

Perfect location, staff were very friendly , 24 hour reception, stayed there to go to iron maiden concert in Murcia, 4 minutes walk to the train station and 24 hour reception to get back in even though we arrived back at 3 am was no problem at all, air con in room was fantastic even in the heatwave the room was so nice and cold , fantastic place to stay, highly recommend
