Paul is a great host & very knowledgeable of his wonderful historic property. The large bedroom is better than photos & very comfy bed. We enjoyed a delicious evening meal (you won’t be disappointed) & breakfast made from all local produce.

A great accommodation! The loft in a restored farmhouse is wonderfully quiet with plenty of space inside and a lovely garden right in front and a large pool. The kitchen is top of the line and the living/dining area has a huge window to the outside. A bakery is in the next village (about 2km) and a large supermarket is in Fontenay (9 km). The location is ideal to explore the Marais poitevin, also La Rochelle and Nantes are within easy reach. Ludovic is a great host who always gave us valuable travel advice and brought us baguettes from the neighboring village every morning. Thank you for a great time! We are missing your barn owl that flew by every evening.
