Such a lovely place where you feel very welcome. Its about 30 minutes to the ferry of Harwich.

The Chudleigh is located close to Clacton-on-Sea's pier, seafront and shopping centre.

Everything, such a delight to stay at this property. Wonderful warm greeting on arrival, Carol and Peter were great hosts. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent. Location was close to the water and very handy for our touring. So happy we chose this great little hotel to end our UK travels at.

Room was warm and clean as was the shower, although quite weak pressure, and bed, which was also very comfortable. Staff are always very welcoming and helpful and very much fits the bill for my purpose for travel there, which I do several times a year

Beautiful location. Very easy to find. The Lodge is a perfect little hideaway. The owners are friendly and welcoming. I loved the firm bed, smart TV, fast broadband, Fridge and Chocolate! I'd definitely stay again, it's very good value.

The rooms were so nicely furnished, the beds were terrific and the pub was lovely, as was its landlady Anne. Perfect location with shops and restaurants all within a 5 minute radius and the beach only 10 minutes away.

Beautifully presented accommodation. Very clean and comfortable. Quiet and peaceful location. Close proximity to Harwich Ferry Terminal - which is why we chose this place.

I liked the atmosphere of being at a home! Mike was very friendly and understading and we had the feeling of having a local very close to us! He helped very much with some practicalities and I felt safe. By choosing to stay in a small city gave me the feeling of living in the country! Like local!
