Breakfast was excellent. We ate everything served and left nothing on the plate. Most enjoyed conversation with other guests from European countries. Was a very precious opportunity for us travelling from Tokyo to meet and talk with such people at the big common table while having breakfast. The hosts were most friendly, very helpful and professional to make our stay extremely comfortable and relaxing. The facilities were kept clean, just like top-rated international hotels, and estate itself was in the midst of the green woods, fresh natural air and with a bit of Scottish historic flavour.

Hospitality was WONDERFUL!!! If i come to Forres again, i definitely stay at Robinhill !! If you love tranquility and peace, this is the place. Lyn and Lee were fabulous hosts and offered above and beyond. Room was more spacious than anticipated with private bath. Quiet even with being on the main road. Delicious breakfast and even vegetarian options (including vegetarian haggis)! And having tea and coffee in the room was nice to have.

The owner of the property is a very pleasant person. We stayed in a very comfortable room, plenty of light, windows excellent (no noise, despite being on the main street), decent bed, a bathroom where everything works, nice sized tv, and quite tasteful. Useful desk, plenty of storage space, and a kettle. Location of the property is excellent. Really near to the centre of town, and also usefully, a supermarket (M&S). It's on the main road, so easy to get to. The guesthouse itself is an impressive building, and from our window we could see the Duke of Gordon monument atop Lady Hill. Breakfast is very decent. We had poached eggs and smoked haddock 2 times - though there is another cooked breakfast. Overall, as good as can be.
