    Joe is a great host. He was very welcoming but after initial introductions and helpful guidance on the locality he discretely faded into the background and allowed us full use of the kitchen and living area. His balcony provides great views of the port and passing city activity.

    Joe's place was excellent. He met us at the gate in the rain and helped with our cases and he even lent my husband a rain jacket so that we could go out to dinner! The room was spotless and the bathroom also. The location was excellent. Just a few minutes walk to the port to board our cruise the next morning. Joe was a great host and gave us loads of recommendations 👌

    Good value for money, lovely hosts. Bus stop across the road to the city centre was perfect which saved on parking fees and stress driving around road works/ diversions.

    I had one day’s layover in Southhampton between two cruises. Joe the host of this home stay has been such a great host. He was genuinely helpful not only with answering my questions but provided generous assistance so that my lay over was as smooth and worry-free as could be. Next time I pass through Southampton on cruises, I will make a point of booking into Joe’s place.
