Hosts are amazing, kind, helpful, and despite the language barrier (they speak only a little english) we communicated easily and efficient with them. Flexible and delicious breakfast, merging Georgian traditional cuisine with continental food, clean beds, rooms, and bathroom. They helped with everything we asked, a recommeded place to stay.

We are travelling by bike and on our way to Ushguli we decided to stop for 2 night to hide from the rain and to take a rest before the big elevation before Ushguli. We loved the room, simple and comfortable, with the sound of the river. The living room for guests is incredible and we could use the kitchen to make tea and cook. They have there own made matsoni and cheese, which are really delicious and the homemade Khachapuri as well. The hosts are very welcoming and polite, we felt in a really pleasant atmosphere and the communication was easy going. Thank you so much and we wish you all the best!

Best Guesthouse we stayed in our whole trip! We came from Khalde and had no signal and the owner of the Guesthouse (Simon) came by car looking for us and picking us up. As we arrived the Family greeted us, super sweet Kids which whom we played games and Elo was very nice to us and made us wonderful dinner! The Rooms were clean, big and comfortable! Amazing guesthouse, we were sad to leave them! Again we were brought to the start of the trak by car the next day!

The accommodation is in a family home, everything is authentic. We stayed in the attic room with the glass ceiling and terrace, a unique experience. Fresh linen, cleanliness and private bathroom will ensure all the comfort. The hosts are very welcoming and warm, they help you with everything you need. Breakfast and dinner were very good, with products from their own home. From the terrace you can enjoy a breathtaking view, everything green and in the distance the snowy mountains, it was the most beautiful accommodation in Georgia. We communicated very well with Davit, he gave us information about the condition of the roads and about the mountains and trails. Congratulations on what you managed there with your wonderful family! Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The accommodation was beautiful, clean, and in a quiet village location. We loved seeing the chickens and cows, and experiencing the local village life. The hostess'es food was homemade, incredibly delicious and plentiful. The breakfast was also excellent. The family was so welcoming and friendly, and we had a fantastic time. Highly recommend!

I stayed here while trekking from Mestia to Ushguli and this was by far the best guesthouse I stayed in during the 5 days. Medea is an absolute star - she picked me up from Iprali, even though the road conditions were terrible and she made sure I was completely comfortable throughout my stay. Bath robes and slippers are available in the rooms (which is not the norm in guesthouses along the trekking route). The meal service was absolutely fantastic - fresh and varied food, including handmade pizza which Medea learned to make during her years living in Italy. Although the guesthouse is not directly in Iprali, it is absolutely worth staying here if you are trekking. Medea provides a level of service and comfort that you just will not find elsewhere.
