We loved our spacious room and the high ceilings, the beds were very comfortable. The location is great, a short walk to the Santa Cruz dock. We personally love dogs, so theirs made our stay even better. The owner was helpful.

The accomodation is very pretty. This is a family house and they are very kind and helpfull. The upper floor has an amazing view to the volcanos and our bedroom was huge. They also indicate the fair prices we should pay to tuk tuk and boats in lake atitlan.

Amazing views from every angle of the place. The whole wall of glass opens up, so when the weather is good, it's really amazing to have it open air. It rained a lot while I was there, and it was the most peaceful experience watching the clouds roll in and getting the breeze off the lake. The daybed against the window overlooking the lake is just divine. I could lounge there all day. There are two very cute and friendly cats that will try to get in! It's really quiet and the bed was amazing. Most comfortable place I stayed in Guatemala. I arrived early as someone was cleaning the apartment and she was extremely nice and stowed my bag while she finished up. A nice touch you don't often get in an airbnb type place.

We had the most amazing stay at the beautiful Nuevo Sol in San Juan. The room was very tidy and clean, the bed was great, the garden was a beautiful oasis of tranquillity and flowers, and the communal kitchen was greatly equipped. Most of all, our hosts Feliciana and Carolina were some of the kindest people we met on our journey. They immediately made us feel at home and answered all our questions about the town and restaurants. Muchas gracias!

This place is excellent value for money! Everything is newly renovated and well-maintained. It’s located close to the city centre—just far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet, but still within easy walking distance or a quick TukTuk ride.     You do have a private bathroom and Wi-Fi!! Such a beautiful view of the lake and both volcanoes from the rooftop! Delicious traditional breakfast every morning cooked by the host. At the top of the hill a few restaurants around so you don’t have to go back down the hill. Spacious room with private access to the roof! Would definitely recommend staying here if you want to see how the locals live and have beautiful views!
