Pretty homestay (that's getting improved), super friendly staff (Alfrets, nice owner) and very close to the park entrance. Rooms are basic but have AC and okay-ish for a short stay. Trekking was beautiful.

The position of the homestay was outstanding, at the entrance to the Nat.Park. The accommodation is simple air conditioned and clean with a terrace looking over the gardens . Our room only had a cold water shower , but welcomed after a steamy jungle walk th see the amazing Black Macques. The food in the communal open dining area was tasty and adequate . The staff were so friendly and welcoming.

Homestay and kitchen simple but adequate.
We had exceptional morning and evening tours! The guide (owner's brother) is incredible in sighting animals.
The owner organized a car to take us back to Manado.
We warmly recommend the place, everything in one place. Do not hesitate to come!

The homestay is run by a family who has been working with the community to protect wildlife in Tangkoko National Park. The nature guide is knowledgeable about the animals. I would love to be back again!

Very nice homestay, perfect for the trips to Tangkoko National Park, because the entrance to the park is just opposite to the Ranger Homestay. The cottage had everything that you need for convenient stay - big, comfortable beds, clean bathroom, AC and terrace with some chairs where you can relax after visit in Tangkoko National Park. The staff is also very friendly and helpful, they help also arrange the pickup from and to Manado.
We made the morning and evening trips to the Tangkoko National Park and saw a lot of animals.

Close to the nature reserve, and the morning and evening tours offered by the homestay allowed you to see a variety of wildlife in the reserve. Also close to the beach. Free tea, coffee and water is also provided which is a bonus.
