It can be a good idea to stay there for a few days and see not only Borobudur temple (don’t forget to buy a ticket online in advance), but also another temples, rice fields and a life of local people. The homestay is close to the main road, but in a quiet place. All what you need is on a walking distance - the temple, restaurants, shops etc. Owners can help you with everything what you need. It is the big heart and the great hospitality of the hosts. It was a great stay with a very clean room and we would have loved to stay longer. I recommend everyone to stay several nights and also to explore the area. Felt more like a homestay or a couch surfing and was very natural hanging out with them. They gave me some great info on viewing sunrise and visiting the temple. They helped me with everything. Ika even accompanied me to the temple and gave me some first-hand information. Moreover he did a bicycle tour with me and showed me a mushroom and honey manufacture and also took me on his motorbike to Candi Mendut. Friendly Mr Berman and his mum take good care of the room. It was very clean and comfortable. It is homestay in a little fruit orchard. I didn't see any mosquitoes.
