Romel made everything to make us fell like at home. This is a family homestay, all the food was freshly done and it was lovely, even the fish was freshly caught by the Romel’s dad. We had also nice snack in the afternoon. We made a day trip in Pyanemo, all was perfectly organized. No doubt this is an homestay which we would be happy to book again

The best homestay we’ve ever stayed at! We were absolutely delighted with this homestay. Everything is done with so much care and attention—the space is incredibly clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The food is simply amazing, prepared with dedication and full of flavor. The family running the homestay is incredibly friendly. Although they don’t speak English, they use translation apps to communicate, and if their nephew is on vacation, it’s very easy to communicate in English. Tomás, who manages the homestay, is fantastic! He made sure to take us to all the places we wanted to visit and even offered us a boat tour around the area on our last day—a wonderful gesture! The bungalow is simple but cozy, equipped with a large fan and a mosquito net, ensuring a comfortable and restful stay. The location couldn’t be better, with sea views on both sides of the island and breathtaking sunsets that are truly magical. The homestay is completely isolated, offering the perfect environment for tranquility and relaxation, despite being very well located close to key spots. Speaking of location, must-visit spots like Pyanemo, Tugas Island, and Melissa Garden are just 5-10 minutes away by boat. The only downside is the lack of network coverage at the homestay, so it’s important to plan all your activities and dives in advance if they’re not directly arranged with the homestay. The bathroom is simple but super clean. The shower is traditional, using a bucket, but it’s surprisingly pleasant. If you’re looking for diving experiences, we highly recommend Pam’s Divers. They are slightly farther away, but they are extremely professional and friendly, making the experience even better. An unforgettable experience—we highly recommend it!

Very good bungalows and nice location, very friendly and kind staff, tasty food. You can book tours with owner of this property - and see other islands renting the boat for tour. nature around is amazing!

JouSuba Homestay is amazing. It is a small island with only homestays on it and so remains relatively untouched for the region. The huts are on a lovely little beach with white sand extending into the sea. They are relatively simple and built with the same indigenous local style as you find in the region. However the mattress is very very comfortable which makes for a great night's sleep. The owner Ferdinand is the local service industry expert and his family own the island and the land. They are making improvements all the time and when I went in Dec24 they had just introduced starlink for amazing internet. Ferdinand was always gracious and kind and extremely helpful when planning trips, excursions and things to do. He has visions for a bright future and is therefore one of the more business savvy owners and extremely responsive to guests needs and wishes. As soon as I booked a room he reached out via WhatsApp which felt very safe and welcoming. Other Honestays can be much more laid back and if you are on a schedule it can make you feel quite anxious. His wife was an amazing cook as she has previously worked in the restaurants of some big hotels. I was fortunate enough that his kids were on holiday and were available to explore and play around with. Such a delightful warm family. Highly recommended

We had a marvellous stay with Nick at Meos Ambower. The bungalows over the water with the house reef right in front is extraordinary. Baby reefsharks visiting, swimming underneath, a beautiful sunrise and sunset right in front is a dream come true. The common room has excellent 360degree view over the beautiful reef. Plenty of food options and always fresh. The staff is super friendly, helpful and always ready to go on an adventure. We went swimming with the mantas, which is just a 10 minute boat ride from the homestay. Cristal clear emerald blue water and playful mantas. We had a fabulous stay and will definitely visit again! Rooms were good and clean, AC was working well. All of the facilities in the resort were in really good condition overall. We did multiple dives while staying there and have to thank Ross and the whole dive team, highly skilled and professional divers and all of the gear was in great condition. They also carried spare pieces of gear and emergency oxygen, which not many dive operators in RA do. All in all the best diving we have done in RA.

The Place is fantastic. A bit off the beaten Track. Rio and her husband manage the place very well - lovely Family. Great food. Sweet Kids :) The food was amazing, the house reef is great as well. Nice excursions with Vence to Wayag or nearby manta point and smaller islands also aroud with spectactular reefs and coral gardens. Pianemo also close. The trip to Wayag is close(r) to do from here, so you might have enough time to enjoy Wayag. The homestay has shared bathroom which is spotlessly clean, the traditional bungalows overlook the sea with fantastic sunsets. A well recoomended place to spend more then 2 or 3 nights.
