We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Flores. The staff were extremely accommodating as were the owners. We were even greeted at our door with breakfast in the morning. Lovely people and good English. Although a few minutes drive out of the centre do not let it put you off booking here. Comfy bed, clean facilities and a nice lounge area outside. It is also located at the end of a small local village which is also interesting to experience. Plenty of hellos from local people. The host can also organise lifts for you into town or you can get a grab bike.

Where do we start! This has been the biggest and best surprise of our trip to Indonesia. We booked a homestay, but we found a home. As soon as we arrived to DFlora we were greeted by Ellen and Arief who did so much for us from the very beginning… they opened their home for us and all the guests to enjoy and that meant everything from using all the facilities (kitchen, water, tea coffee, washing machine, every lounge in the house!) to all the extras you wouldn’t expect. Ellen noticed I had bad mosquito bites so got me some soothing oil… we walked out one day to the shop and it rained - while we were on the road walking we saw Arief on the motorbike rushing to bring us umbrellas! Their hospitality didn’t stop. They cooked and invited us to try their food, and baked us snacks in the day… the food is INCREDIBLE! And they even insisted they took us to the airport! We only planned to stay 2 nights… we extended to 5 nights. The beautiful puppy dogs, Hugo and Viola will also make your stay with their unlimited love and cuddles. The location is peaceful and beautiful with surrounding countryside and the house is spacious, clean and comfortable. It is without doubt the ONLY place to stay in Labuan Bajo and we miss it and them all dearly already! We WILL be back to visit :)

Host super gentle and nice. He speaks english and he gives all the support needed. Delicious breakfast The room was very clean and tidy, the bathroom clean too and the shower was really big The best place were to stay in labuan bajo Even though it is not in the city center, it is quite easy reaching all the places such airport and harbour (grab, scooter rent) Strongly suggested, one of the best place we found in Indonesia

Beautiful property located not far from Labuan bajo. Well worth having dinner there one night. Melo cafe is also close by and does nice food (but be prepared for a hard walk uphill to reach it unless you have a motorbike). Overall we had a lovely stay.

We stayed in a double room next to the pool. New hotel with all the necessary amenities. A great pool and delicious coffee! The staff were very helpful, they helped us booking a motorbike and even took care of my girlfriend, who had a minor accident on her way back to the hotel on a dark street.

Friendly staff who went out of their way to help me out when I got sick. Nice small breakfast (banana pancake and fruit). Really comfy bed Super close to the airport (we walked in 5 minutes to the airport, but from The airport it’s steep uphill so might wanna get a taxi there with luggage).

Such a lovely family! We were made very welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable, nicely cool. Even had towels provided and lots of plugs to charge our electronics. We sat outside in the garden playing cards at night. Bathroom had everything we needed. I believe they're planning to keep upgrading. Breakfast was delicious. We had a great stay!

    I enjoyed the serene atmosphere that the home stay has. The staff is super friendly and collaborative. They helped us in every moment we asked for assistance. They were kind, clear and had special attention for our way of travelling. We are a family of backpackers. Many trips in SEA and we were lucky to find this homestay Breakfast is good in a very nice location. Excellent value for money Respect for this old school homestay!

    This homestay and family is fantastic! So absolutely lovely! We loved every second staying here. Mama Re and the family made us feel at home and part of the Family! Note: Know that this place is outside town. We loved that… but be sure before you book! And this a homestay not a hostel. So behave, no loud music and be quiet after 10pm … behave for the host family and the other guests. Just saying…… Enjoy this lovely homestay!
