Hotel is really well maintained with nice rooms and essentially a private beach out the back door. Didn't have time to see the turtles, but spent two nights relaxing and made a visit to the Green Bay thanks to the owner Hadi who took me on his motorbike. It's tough to get to, but it's a great place to break up a journey between Java and Bali or vice versa. Make sure you have your own transport or arrange pick up in advance.

The place looks amazing. The room was clean and spacious, and its view is on a beautiful garden. Sri is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is very good. The beach is 2 minutes walking. We definitely recommend this place!

Everything was amazing, we were supposed to stay just 2 nights and we ended up staying 4!! Sri, the host of the homestay, is just wonderful. She is friend with everyone in the village and she can show you around or give you great recommendations, specially if you are the type of traveller that wants to avoid crowds. I highly recommend staying here and explore the area, also don't be shy about talking with Sri about anything (including prices if you are not convinced), she is the kindest and will explain everything, since she always wants to make sure their guests are happy with their experience at her place. Also, she cooks all meals herself (and sometimes with her family) and it is the best food we've had in all Indonesia so far.

Classic backpacker spot right next to the beach (100m). Hendro is a lovely guy and was super helpful during my stay.

The guesthouse is located in a beautiful garden - through huge windows of your spacious room you can admire how well maintained it is. The area has a nice swimming pool with cooling water and sunbeds. Rooms are specious and super clean. Aris and his wife Lisa run this place with a lot of love, what you can especially feel in the delicious food they serve and the conversations you exchange :) thanks to their hospitality and help with organizing our trip to Meru Beitiri and Sukamade Beach we came back home with unforgettable memories. Do ask Aris about Sukamade and do not leave Kalibaru without going there.
