Fantastic staff. They were brilliant when we had to rearrange all our travel at last minute as our flight was cancelled. Sorted a great guide for jungle trek too.Food was the best we had in Indonesia. No menu but at every meal they cooked fantastic home meals. Limitless free water refills too - necessary in humid jungle

Bryan is a really knowledgeable (ask him about the jungle, he has great stories), positive and cool guy. His friends, family and him will make sure that you have a nice stay in the cozy jungle hub of Bukit Lawang. The food at the Guesthouse is excellent and the vibe is very good and relaxed . The jungle trek is lead by Rosit aka the magician! Just like Bryan, he has real love for the jungle and its animals. He's a great team of guides working together for Thomas Leaf. On top of that, Rosit can show you magic tricks, love his enthusiasm. You can also do a tour in the area to see how Tempeh, Tofu and Brown Sugar are made and you will stop at a some other places with the nice guidance of Ponido (sorry if the name is not totally correct 😅). I can really recommend it!

Alek, the owner is really welcoming and helpful. The food is cheap and really good. The organisation of the treck was perfect The place is central and the view on the river really appeciable. Good value for money. I recommand.

Staff, food, location, room and garden were all perfect. Felt like we were in a jungle paradise . We booked a 2 day Jungle trek. We saw 6 orangutans, gibbons lots of monkey's, birds and so many cool insects. The Cheeky Monkeys guides were amazing and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend to stay here and also book your tours.

Rating: 10/10 I really enjoyed my stay here. It was a beautiful place and I had a great time. It was possible to make tea and coffee without paying extra and it would have been possible to watch TV. The owner Izoen was very friendly and helpful. I felt very welcome and relaxed. I only regret not planning more time to relax in Bukit Lawang. I hope to come back one day!

Lovely spacious rooms with gorgeous balcony and view. Rooms were very clean with flushing toilets! Easy walk into town where there’s lots of restaurants and a supermarket. The owner and staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. We felt very safe and welcome here. They cooked us lovely banana pancakes for breakfast and a lovely lunch.

GREAT STAY AND EXPERIENCE EVER We would like to thanks to Bayu,aji and the Team for the incridable Job, It was amazing time in bukit Lawang. The place so cozy,quite and New. Breakfast was so good We do private jungle trekking for 3 days with them,Bayu has so much knowlodge about the jungle and medical plant and it was unforgotable EXPERIENCE nd definatly Comeback again They have other Guest House (Batu Kapal Guest House) which is a great place to stay and you can see wild Orang utan just next from your room We Highly reccomend this place Regards Linda and jay
