The room was fine it was Martins restaurant that made the stay so amazing! The food was brilliant, the wine was delicious and the music was amazing - didnt want to leave!

Bridie was a very nice host. She welcome us very well and give us good tips for the restaurant closed by. The room was really cleen, with good equipment and big space. We even get a personal bathroom (reservation was for a shared bathroom). The only thing that could be better was the bathroom flush (very weak) but it seems that it often occurs in Ireland. Many thanks we will keep very good memories of this night

Beautiful large room with the most comfortable bed and lovely bed linen. Kathleen was very friendly and helpful. There was also a kitchen and sitting room available which was very convenient. The house is in a very quiet area less than 3km from the centre of Clifden.

We stayed in BnB's almost exclusively during our 2 weeks in Ireland and the Buttermilk was hands down the best of all. The room was lovely, breakfast out of this world and easy walk to town.

The hostess was very friendly and helpful. She clearly put a lot of effort into the creation of the room and there were many extra details included - she thought of everything. The bathroom was large and well supplied There was a binder in the room with lots of information about the area which was very useful. Communication with hostess was very good with prompt replies. The location was good. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely come back.
