It's a great homestay with a beautiful garden and lots of flowers. I felt very happy staying here....wish I could have stayed for one more day. Good ambience and polite owner. The host is very friendly. Everything is nearby ...the stay is at the centre of the city This is the best stay in coorg at a reasonable price I'll visit back to this stay for sure next time Thanks for having us.

At Misty Retreat, u get blown away in 3 stages.. 1st the picture perfect Bungalow- Pragati with its ample space and garden. 2nd, the polite and warm hospitality of the staff-Sathish & Jayavanthi and their 3 lovely kids, who tend to all ur needs with a smile on their face from the moment u enter the property till u leave(including the owner- Mr. Bopaiya and even their dog- blackie) 3rd, the convenient but quiet location of the property- u can drive to the peak or Madikeri with ease but it's away from any noise or bustle of the town. Honourable Mention: if u're there, u should try the homemade wine made by the lady of the house- Mrs. Bopaiya herself.

    Monappa was an excellent host, he took very good care of us during our stay and made us feel at home. The property is very maintained and the views from the home stay are just stunning. The bbq and bonfire was arranged for us in the evening. The service was very prompt and the food was prepared by Monappa’s mum who is an excellent with the food preparation as the food was very sumptuous and homely. I would highly recommend FernHills Homestay if you want to spend some nice time with friends or family.
