Location is excellent, staffs including owner are very courteous and helpful.Food was also very tasty . During our Triund trek, we lost our way while returning in the evening, Mr. Namgyal helped us a lot including sending a car to Gallu devi temple at night .We have no words to express our gratitude to him and also the person who guided my wife in last part of trek and drove us to the hotel.

Very friendly and accommodating hosts, who really went above and beyond with their hospitality - they helped with laundry, phone top ups and even a little yoga. Additionally, the location is amazing. Aside from the beautiful views and the tranquility that the village of Naddi provides, there is a great ashram within walking distance that provides a warm welcome and a comprehensive introduction to Sahaja yoga meditation. Whilst the walks and nature are simply breathtaking. There are also several good and reasonably priced restaurants very close to the homestead.

Soma by Eevolve is hands down the best place to stay in McLeod Ganj! Not only does it boast an incredible location within walking distance to Tushita and stunning views, but the property itself is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Upcoming arriving the staff were very attentive and helpful. I only stayed for one night in a double room but it was perfect. Very good value for money. The location was also perfect walking distance to all the hotspots in Bhagsu nag , Dharamkot and McLeod Ganj! Will come again if in the area. They also have a terrace on 3rd floor from where the entire Triumd Valley is visible and also you can order for food as well. There was fresh bottled water and soap in the room upon arrival. Thank you for the stay!

We have been in India for a month and Vijay was the best host we had so far. Everything we asked for was fixed immediatly, his english is perfect and he is a true local who can provide many great tips for walks, restaurants and info about the place. He also provides a taxi service, and never overcharges for anything. The views from our room was amazing to wake up to every morning. A very pleasant stay, with an honest and cheerful owner.

An absolutely incredible room. If you can get it, you must book it. Just wow. The views are just incredible. Yesterday morning, we laid in bed watching the monkeys playing in the trees outside. Honestly, just book it. I think this room has made it hard to book another room for the rest of our holiday. It's been so lovely staying there. There are really lovely places to eat within a really short distance. The main centre with lots of shops and the Dalai Lama's temple are only a short (but steep) walk away and there are always lots of taxis passing. The room is clean and comfortable. The service was lovely. They even left toothbrushes and toothpaste. The staff were very attentive and even walked to our restaurant to collect something from us. In conclusion, this therefore it would seem: this room is available and if you don't mind steep but entirely manageable hills BOOK IT! I promise you will be as sad as we are to have to drive away.

Our stay at Winterstone was superb. The Standard Double Room that we booked for a week was spacious, spotlessly clean and with very tasteful interior design - something that in my experience is a rarity in India. The bathroom was spotless and with enough hot water and water pressure to enjoy a refreshing shower. The location of the hotel is wonderful. You are close to everything but at a perfect distance, so that the noise of the life below does not bother your stay. The staff are also very helpful and professional. We enjoyed eating breakfast in the comfort of our room almost every morning. The the food and drinks offered at Winterstone are of utmost quality. We tried almost everything on their menu and found all of it made with genuine care; they catered to all of our requests when we wanted more or less spiciness in the food. All in all - I would reccomend Winterstone to anyone who needs a safe, clean and comfortable stay in Mcleodganj. I could not be more satisfied with my experience at Winterstone.
